There is a public consultation meeting which the Council is arranging. It will be held in the Staveley Village Hall on the Thursday, 17th March 2016.
This is to establish the next steps to be taken with regard to the current state of the Barley Bridge Weir. Ultimately the options will be whether we allow it to deteriorate further, dismantle it or seek actively to preserve it.
The public are invited to attend from 7.00 -9.00p.m, where various bodies will be able, if they so wish, to give a short presentation as part of an Open Meeting.
